Here is us spotting lizards (one of our favorite pasttimes)....
The other big news in our house is we moved out of our cribs and into "big boy beds." It's really just our mattresses on the floor (our parents think they are fooling us into believing it's something new and different). Anyhow, the transition began Friday of Labor Day weekend. Naptime did not go as planned as we completely tore apart our room and broke our lamp. No nap was had. That night, we were so exhausted we went pretty much right to sleep. The next day, after jumping like monkeys and almost breaking our necks from leaping from mattress to mattress, our mom and dad took our mattresses away and left us with pillows and blankets. After an hour and 45 minutes of messing around (and pulling out an electrical plug almost electrecuting ourselves), we slept for an hour. That night, again, we were so tired, we slept in our beds. The next day, it took us an hour and 20 minutes to finally fall asleep. It's a work in progress we suppose. The picture below is from Sunday, Sept. 6. We woke up from that nap with carpet imprints on our face! The next day, we got our mattresses back for naptime and slept on them. Good sign of things to come hopefully.
We were excited about the arrival of college football. We enjoyed 2 wins on Saturday: Missouri beat Illinois and UCLA beat up on SDSU. Go Bruins! Go Mizzou! Keep up the good work. Next week we are ready for NFL to begin with our beloved Peyton Manning taking the field once again!
