Middle of winter, really?

It's been quite a while since we've posted anything. We've been hecka' busy (we kind of made up that word...). Anyhow, since we last posted, a new person has come into our lives - our sister, Myka. She was born in September (hmmm...coincidentally, right before our last post). So far, she's okay. We are not quite accustomed to the amount of crying she originally was doing but we're used to it now.

We've been pretty busy these past few months. Besides having a new sister, we have kind of kept to the same old routine (something we appreciate greatly). In October, we hit up a couple of pumpkin patches - that was great fun. It was hot here in S. Cali so it wasn't the fall harvest weather we were hoping for. We continued going to our pre-pre-pre-school class and finished out a good semester. Our Grandma and Grandpa MO along with Uncle Derek came to visit at the end of October. We always love that! They were here for Halloween. We had a great time on Halloween. We carved our pumpkin with our dad and went out for pizza with all of our family. That night, we got dressed in our costumes and went trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. We loved it - had so much fun and didn't want to stop. We dressed as firemen!

Also in October, we were lucky enough to go see Thomas the Train in real life! It was pretty cool. We got to ride on him too!

In November, we celebrated Thanksgiving at our Nonni's house and made a few trips to Disneyland to see the park all decorated for Christmas - that was fun as it snows on Main Street. We also spent a day at Sea World where we got to see Shamu up close and really enjoyed a pet show.

Christmas came so quickly. Our Grandma and Grandpa MO came back out for a visit - we had fun with them! We were so lucky to have so many wonderful presents - our favorites were the train table, huge dinosaur and of course books.

Enjoy the last few weeks of NFL football - you'll find us cheering for our Peyton Manning and the Colts these next weekends!
We hope your New Year has been going fantastic - as for us, it started off with us really pretty sick - Cayden had croup and Tanner, just had the typical bad cold. It's not been fun being couped up in the house.

Happy Winter, wherever this finds you!

grandma mo and I both had fun at Christmas time with you guys and Myka. I know you are sick right now with colds but try to be good since Myka has to go for her procedure today. Help your mom and dad take good care of her.
